Attorney Megan Penn is an Associate Attorney at The Law Firm of J.W. Stafford, LLC, where she represents employees in a wide range of employment law matters. She is passionate about fighting workplace discrimination and advocating for accountability, fairness, and justice. Megan is committed to helping clients navigate difficult legal challenges with thoughtful guidance, strategic advocacy, and responsive client service.

Before joining The Law Firm of J.W. Stafford, LLC, Megan dedicated her legal career to representing employees in workplace disputes. Through this work, she developed a strong foundation in employment litigation, legal research, client advocacy, and case strategy, allowing her to provide thoughtful and effective representation to her clients.

While attending the Thomas R. Kline School of Law of Duquesne University, Megan distinguished herself as an accomplished advocate and legal writer. She served as an Associate Editor of the Duquesne Law Review and was selected to compete on both the Trial Advocacy Team and the Appellate Moot Court Board. She was a semifinalist at the National Telecommunications Moot Court Competition, where her team earned the Best Brief Award, and she also advanced to the quarterfinals of the prestigious William B. Spong, Jr. Invitational Moot Court Tournament.

In recognition of her exceptional advocacy skills, Megan received the Shalom Moot Court Award upon graduation and was inducted into the Order of Barristers, a highly selective national honor society recognizing excellence in trial advocacy, oral advocacy, and legal writing.

Megan earned her Bachelor of Arts in History, with a minor in Middle Eastern Studies, from the University of Maryland in 2019. She received her Juris Doctor from the Thomas R. Kline School of Law of Duquesne University in 2025 and is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania.

Outside the office, Megan enjoys rock climbing, boxing, reading, solving puzzles, and cheering on the Baltimore Ravens and Washington Capitals.
