Jay is a graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law. He brings a wealth of trial experience to his practice after previously working on high-stakes, complex litigation matters for two major litigation firms and clerking for the Honorable Chief Judge Robert M. Bell of the Maryland Court of Appeals, Maryland’s highest court. He has appeared before numerous state and federal courts, as well as a variety of administrative agencies. He founded the Law Firm of J.W. Stafford in 2015 to use his years of litigation experience for the benefit of Maryland’s working professionals and takes pride in helping his clients understand the complexities of employment law.
