Camey Turpin is our Paralegal and Office Manager at The Law Firm of J.W. Stafford, LLC. She joined the team in April 2019 and comes with over 20 years of administrative experience. Her goal is to ensure your case is accurately recorded and relayed to our attorneys for optimal guidance. She has become a trusted member of our team and wants to make sure your experience at our firm runs smoothly and efficiently.
Camey earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from California State University. After graduation she worked for Alameda County Sheriff Office where she oversaw outside specialized training for over 2,000 sworn staff. She was a liaison for Peace Officer Standards & Training, Standards & Training for Corrections and Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies. During her tenure she received multiple awards and letters of commendation. In 2014 Camey and her family made the move to Maryland where she became an Operations Manager for multiple locations with Edgewater Franchise Company. Under her leadership and attention to detail, several locations went from gold standard to a diamond rating. With this professional experience she has become an essential asset to our firm. Empowered by a passion for law, she redefined her path, and returned to school to secure her paralegal certification and unlock a new chapter in her professional journey.

Camey has been happily married for over 30 years and is the proud mother of four children. She enjoys a game of golf with her husband, family vacations, Sunday night dinners and exploring new restaurants with her group of friends for a weekly girl’s night out.
