Chris Johnston was born and raised in Richmond, Virginia. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Criminology, with a minor in Political Science, from West Virginia University. During his time at WVU, Chris also served in the Air National Guard as a Security Forces member, where he developed a strong foundation in leadership, discipline, and accountability.
Chris has extensive experience in the public sector, having worked at the federal, state, and local levels with a focus on law enforcement and regulatory compliance. This background provides him with a practical understanding of government systems and workplace regulations.
He is currently a paralegal, where he supports attorneys on employment law matters and litigation, bringing a detail-oriented and analytical approach to casework. Chris is also a part-time evening student at the University of Baltimore School of Law, where he is pursuing his Juris Doctor, expected in 2027. His combined government and legal experience allows him to approach client matters with both technical knowledge and real-world insight.
Chris is committed to supporting attorneys in advocating for clients and addressing complex employment issues with diligence and care.
Outside of his professional and academic work, Chris enjoys spending time with his young daughter. When time permits, he also enjoys playing golf and watching sports.
